I'm a Māori cinematographer from Tāmaki Makaurau, Aotearoa (Auckland, New Zealand). 

 

I try to infuse my work with a blend of cultural insight and visual poetry, crafting cinematic experiences that resonate with the audience.

Lucky enough to be surrounded by the natural splendor of Aotearoa, I love the interplay of landscape, light and life, and have a passion for the art of visual storytelling through film.

 

Over 20 years of dedicated practice and hands-on experience has refined my ability to capture moments of emotion and wonder on screen.

 

Throughout my career, I've worked on a diverse array of projects, ranging from feature films, television drama, comedy and documentaries, to commercials and music videos.
